CUSTOMER SERVICE

There are so many Man and Van services out there. What makes Esaff the one to go for?
Esaff Removals has done almost 2000 domestic moves now and all that experience is apparent when we do the jobs. We are also a registered UK company, so you will be treated professionally backed up by good old South African work ethics and friendliness.

What are your rates for a normal size van?
London Rates
North of the River Standard van rates:
£30-00 for the first hour and £15-00 for every subsequent half an hour
South of the River Standard van rates:
£40-00 for the first hour and £15-00 for every subsequent half an hour

What are your rates for a bigger van?
London Rates
North of the River Big van rates:
£40-00 for the first hour and £20-00 for every subsequent half an hour
South of the River Big van rates:
£50-00 for the first hour and £20-00 for every subsequent half an hour

How big is your Bigger van and when will I need that?
The bigger van gives you approximately 14m3 in total. It’s an Iveco Daily Extra LWB. I would suggest you using this van if you are not sure if your goods will fit into a standand van, for if we have to return for a second load with a standard van because everything did not fit in one go, this will normally entail at least an extra hour to the final bill. Rather go for the Bigger van for only £10-00 an hour more. We normally suggest the bigger van if the customer have more than 2 pieces of bigger furniture.

How much more for an extra person to help the driver?
£10-00 per person for minimum of 2 hours.

What are your rates to destinations in Greater London?
Same as Big van South of the River rates as long as we do not exceed 40 miles outside the M25.

What are your National rates for destinations in the UK?
Same as the Big van South of the River Rates and the total mileage will be charged at .60p per mile. These quotes are done individually as it is calculated according to the customer’s specific needs.

Do you cover Europe as well?
Yes we do cover most of Europe. If you would like a quote please send me both the full addresses with post codes, timings and all the additional informations to steven@esaff.co.uk and I will get the quote through to you ASAP.

Do you work on Sundays and Bank Holidays?
Yes we do at escalated rates. These rates are £60-00 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours and the additional labour is £15-00 per hour. We only send out the big van on these rates.

Do you work out of normal hours?
Yes we do at escalated rates. Any job that is booked to start after 18:00 on weekdays will be charged at £60-00 for the first hour and £25-00 for every subsequent half an hour and extra labour will be charged at £15-00 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours.

How do you prefer payment?
We prefer cash on completion, but can except cheques from known customers as well. Electronic transfers will also be accepted if it is arranged before start of the job.

What do I need to know as an Esaff Removals customer?
-Please pack reasonably, remember if you struggle to pick up that box, so will we
-Parking is the responsibility of the customer. Esaff Removals will try our best to park legally but if you are aware of problems we might have with parking, please make the necessary arrangements. If any PCN’s are incurred while we are in the process of moving you, this will be added to the bill at the end of the job.
-We start charging as soon as we arrive at the first address and you will only be charged for the time it takes to complete the job.
-Please communicate your job as accurately as possible when making the booking, as we do have to allocate timings to your job.
-On these rates insurance is NOT included. Esaff does not act as Insurer and you are more than welcome to insure your goods in transport personally. You might find that most contents insurance does include goods in transport anyway.

BILLING

How Do you Prefer Payment?
Cash on completion will be great.

Can we get a Receipt for jobs done?
Yes, we send it out by e-mail, so please request this after the job and provide us with an e-mail address to send it to.

PRODUCT / SERVICE SPECIFIC

Do you do packing as well?
Yes we do at £30-00 per hour for 2 people packing for a minimum of 2 hours. We can provide you with the packing material as well.
